Goodevening SGland,
Long time no speak! Let' see...
I got braces put on! Yup, braces at 19. The good news is, they should be off in a year and a half or so, maybe earlier if I keep treating them well. The only downside is that my mouth is all cut up and I slur. Which is fantastic for doing presentations and working the reception at work!
I took a week off work to get a bunch of teeth pulled a few weeks ago, and the boyfriend and I had our anniversary. I actually took him to get a spa pedicure (I hate feet so it was kind of more of a gift for me), went out for dinenr, nothing too special but very much consistent with our relationship. Sometimes I do want the diamonds and dancing, but I really don't think there is any man out there that does that for love... Anyways, that's the jist of my study break.
Last week was busybusybusy, and I spent the weekend doing suicide intervention training with the other interveners at my center. I met some really interesting people doing so, and i'm glad I did! It's been a major confidence boost because I MUST be doing something right if they're willing to entrust me with someone's life at 19.
I've been writing a bunch again but lost a bunch of it in reformatting my computer! I had a few to show you guys.
ANYWAYS, I've been on hiatus for a while. Time for you to answer some questions...
1. How are you? What's been up?
2. Have you ever gotten a pedicure?
3. Where did you think you would be today ten years ago?

3. Where did you think you would be today ten years ago? Married and with kids. I am married now but kids only the 4 legged kind.
I hated getting braces....and teeth pulled fuck that I had 12 or so teeth pulled 4 adult teeth too.
Hope all is well with you my dear
I am fine. I've been working my ass off and am now hiring some additional help. I cooked a wicked dinner tonight with some friends and my first carrot cake from scratch.
No. I don't want anyone touching my feet.
10 years ago I was 17 and madly in love with my High School sweetheart who I thought I would marry and live happily ever after with. I had planned to go to university, get an undergraduate degree in commerce and then attend law school. I had hoped by 27 to be a lawyer at a big corporate law firm with a gazzillion dollars. What actually happened: My HS sweetheart dumped me, I dropped out of university, and I now make newspapers for a living - I don't have a gazzilion dollars, but I do alright. I'm getting married in 3 months to my new sweetheart (of 5 years) and for all the ups and downs of love, I still think I'm going to get my happily ever after.
I hope it's alright that I randomly commented on your blog, good luck with everything!
