I practiced the songs. They sound pretty good. I'm trying new attitudes toward writing them. Originally, all I wanted to do was write songs that had the same feelings of songs by bands I loved and wished I was in so I could play them live. Along with that, was writing 8 minute long epics that are exhausting to play. I feel like I've done enough for now with those strategies and now I'm more about writing concise, catchy songs with riffs I torture myself to write because they can't even coincidently sound like something else. But I got the singing down and some dude from L.A. that books awesome shows is going to start helping us out. So, first it's finish the new songs, go to the studio, get bored of playing LA, then do something pretty cool like sign to RELAPSE and tour Japan with High on Fire. I mean, why not?
