Alright, so I overslept today. Woops. Woke up at 7:50 instead of 6:00 a.m., woops. Had five minutes to get ready to leave for my final, haha. Woops... it went okay though, and I had a glorious shower upon my return.
I have to say, that I've been listening to Peter Gabriel pretty non-stop for the last few days. His music was a huge part of my childhood, in the sense that either Genesis (my mom), or his solo music (my dad) were almost constantly playing, in addition to the Doors, Pink Floyd and Steely Dan. I think the first real crush I had, was on jim Morrison when I was around six years old, and told my dad I was going to marry him... and was broken hearted when I was told that he had been dead since before I was born! Haha.
But yeah, Gabriel all the way. And... I also happen to think he was SMOKING HOT as a younger gent.
Evidence:
Mmm.
Oww, oww.
And finally:
Yeah, damn. Tasty.
Scott and I are doing really well, too. Which is always nice. We've had our little tiffs and disagreements over music and what not but no arguments in a long time. I am SO freaking excited to give him his Christmas presents (dorky I know).
Just in case he reads this, I will make this members only haha. But, but, I bought him a lovely green and black flannel shirt (a real flannel shirt not a "fashion" flannel shirt haha it's so warm and good), a watch (green face, brown leather band), a pair of BRIEFS that say "Man of Steel" (haha), and then the biggies. I didn't purchase either of these things for him, but he'll be so happy anyway:
I had a '72 fender Strat I loved very much that my dad had given to me (it was his), and some fucker stole it out of my house, I was heart broken, that was my favorite guitar. So out of impulse (and grief of course) bought a new strat at Guitar Center... and it just never played for me, we didn't mix but I thought at the time it was a good purchase.
Whenever we jam together, I always play my beloved Les Paul Special, and he always played my new strat, which he got really attached to. I decided eventually it was time to sell it, and he said he'd buy it and has had it for almost six months and I'm not going to make him pay. SO, instead of selling it to someone else, I'm going to give it to him, and give him my little ancient bronco amp.
I can't wait
That is all for now , OH and I got my new glasses, I have to post a photo!
