The chill in the air glides over my skin like electricity. It carries the smell of burning oak, home hearth's beconning the weary home.

Fall is the time for dreamers. The time when all of nature slips slowly into sleep, into dreaming and remembrance.

It's late summer in the south.
The firflies have all gone.

The crickets have come out, and the tree frogs sing with them in harmony, like some sort of requiem, they bring the past to the surface. They call up ghosts and dreams, memories living and dead, floating on the smells of the cool, late night summer air.

People who have never suffered the same way can only empthathize, they can't sympathize.

I try to tell myself people are simply just different. Some people just feel more intently than others. When one says to the other, why don't you just get over it, we just can't understand. How can you just get over it.
