So my uncle passed away Wednesday night.
What a sad couple weeks. He's been schizophrenic the last 25 years and his med symptoms masked the tumor growing on his pituitary until he passed out from ICP.
They tried to remove it, he got meningitis and after that it was just all over. They took him off the respirator and hours later he was dead.
I haven't spent a whole lot of time in my life with him but I love my dad and my other uncle to death and they are just devastated. Not to mention my poor Grandma who lost her youngest when he was 10. She is wondering why god is doing this to her, and if she didn't pray enough.
Most of all I hurt for his two little girls who had a rough enough time dealing with his illness, and now they have to go without him at all.
Sucks sucks sucks.
Ah well, I couldn't pick a better family to be a part of though, the way everyone has pulled together.

It's never easy, but when families come together, it is a beautiful thing in an odd way.
I hope for beauty in their life.
