I am excited as I have a solid idea for a backpiece that I need to sit on for a few months at least. I came across this artist: Rob Coutts, who seems to do exactly what I am looking for.
Check out his portfolio....the guy is amazing.
Work has been crazy. I have not been sleeping as well as I should - I am luckily sleeping through the nights but as soon as I wake up all it takes is one thought of what is outstanding and I am awake for good. Friday I found it hard to deal - so when I got home that night at about 8pm I grabbed a beer and just worked until my body gave up at around 1am. When I am stressed I can't leave it alone, I just need to work and work and work until I find relief.
Saturday and Sunday the computer stayed OFF.
I went shopping last week, which made me feel a bit better. I felt guilty for spending money BUT my clothes were getting too small for me. It is amazing how happy a new shirt can make me.
Now that I have fully healed from the accident - my pole is being used more! And by consequence, so is S's! Ok wow, sorry for the really bad joke. But no really, best workout ever.
This week will consist of keeping it together, starting on a pair of knitted gloves, and possibly seeing a dear old friend. Joys!

I love the jazz and african jazz... both of my instructors are really excellent. Ballet is so pretty when I see it done professionally, but when I try it myself it's pretty, yet a bit tedious, and I just can't get into the rhythm of the music. The contact improv was really interesting; I'd never done anything like that before. The I can compare it to is movement warmups for acting classes, only different and for a whole hour and a half.
I also love contra dancing; I haven't been in ages but it's so fun!
Then when I ignore them or just take em off buddy list they throw a hissy fit o.o
people are weird
