I love this piece! Scary and yet true as hell!
Must Be The Chicken
by Poetri
Um, Uh, uuuuuuuuuum!
I hadn't even finished
Swallowing the last bite
Of the best chicken sandwich
I had ever tasted.
When out the blue
There she was.
Jet black hair
Shaped in a style that corresponded
Beautifully with her silky smooth face,
Which in turn collaborated so nicely with her African goddess like body.
Man, I almost choked.
I tell ya, she'd make the Grand Wizard
Of the Ku Klux Klan love black folk!
Her body was BOOM-BAM-BAM.
I said,"DAAAAAAAAM!"
There has to be a law against fine black women like this.
I mean she could give an old man a heart attack or something.
I closed my eyes,
Making sure I wasn't seeing things,
Cause I was lonely.
Then I opened them up to take a double take.
You don't hear me,
But this girl would make a gay man go straight!
I wanted to yell, "Wait!
Except my thoughts weren't loud enough to hear.
As she switched, I twitched
Like a crack fiend, I had to meet her!
Tell me have you seen her?
No ifs or ands
But there was a butt.
A perfectly shaped one at that.
I gathered my composure,
Straightened up my close and arose
From the grass where I had tripped staring at this Ebony Queen.
Slowly I approachedcarefully.
Man, women are the most beautiful things on this planet.
I started planning things to say,
Cause this was it MY DAY!
You only make one first impression.
I tried to glide as smoothly as she was walking.
I opened my mouth but I didn't start talking.
My heart started beating faster and faster,
And finally she broke the silence and said "Hi!"
With a smile I might add.
I replied, "Hi, how are you?
Would you like cheese on your burger?"
It's a good thing she didn't notice
How nervous I was around her.
My immatureness is what she seemed to love about me.
Little silly things would cause her to giggle like a child.
I went wild! She likes me;
This fine specimen actually likes me!
I mean,
I'm not surprised.
I'm a fairly handsome looking fellow,
Kind of intelligent, too!
So we continued walking and talking,
Talking and walking.
Stopping for a second
Then doing some more walking and talking,
Talking and walking.
"I have to go,
I have homework,
I have to get it done or my mother will get mad."
I loved that!
She still respects her mother,
Even though she's in college.
You know, a lot of kids rebel
During that age.
My curiosity grew
And I asked her what college she went to and she replied,
"Johnson Middle School."
Johnson Middle School!
This can't be! My African Queen!
The one I fell in love with on site,
The one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with,
Was only 14 years old!
I almost cried.
Forget it, I did cry!
Days have gone past now
And I've come to the conclusion
That this is no illusion,
It's the chicken!
Now follow me.
As the food industry grows
Everybody knows that we must produce food
Faster, quicker and bigger.
So what I figure is,
They shoot a dose of hormones into the chicken
To make them grow faster, to make them grow quicker,
To make them grow bigger!
Next thing you know a 14-year-old child,
Dressing in ways that her mother shouldn't let her dress anyway,
Looks like a 24-year-old model.
The result is early pregnancy, rape or disease.
It's the chicken, man, it's gotta be!
