Quick blog: I just woke up and I"m cold and I want a cigarette.
ZEN FOR THOSE WHO TAKE LIFE TOO SERIOUSLY: EVERYONE HAS A PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORY. SOME JUST DO NOT HAVE FILM.
Stellar weekend. Hope all you mommies had a lovely Mother's Day, and hope all you kiddies made your mothers' Mother's Day lovely. I got a nice gift: Coby mastered the art of the straw all by himself.
I"m trying to figure out why my keyboard sounds strange.
Saturday night was truly epic.Went to the Gee to peep my husband's band. We were talking with most of you in chat about that so you know I started drinking about 1 in the afternoon. I actually lost enough weight to gain enough confidence to go out in public in leggings - and I must say I looked good. Got a pic of my butt somewhere along with others & I will post them soon! I ironically made a new friend. I say the word ironically cuz I (and she) was expecting to beat her ass (for reasons I shall not discuss here, but they were definitely viable!) But, I took the high road and so did she - despite what everyone was telling her ("Sara's gonna kill you stay away from her if you wanna keep your face", etc) and we had a good time hanging out together. I"m glad I got to know her & look forward to maintaining an epic friendship.
So Mother's Day was hangover day for me & Chris. My sister took Coby overnight on Saturday and kept him all day Sunday until we went out with my parents for dinner: another great gift. Chris and I laid in bed naked all day and watched "Battle in Seattle" which is by far one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. We hit 99 for dinner; I had steak tips and white chocolate cheescake for dessert. Maybe I'll go buy a cheesecake & smear it on Chris later - YUM!
Closing note: Happy Birthday to Sid Vicious who would be 53 today. I celebrate every year by getting drunk & watching either The Filth and the Fury or The Great Rock & Roll Swindle. Tonight will be no exception.
My mind is wandering and my nicotine receptors have taken my brain hostage. Cellar door.
