So I went to Medieval times last night for a friends birthday, which was an interesting experience, to say the least. Good times tho! Ended up at some random bar after that was playing 50s and 60s tunes, so that's always a good. It even randomly inspired me to record a really odd cover an old tune I remember always digging....turned out kind of interestingly...but not bad for a couple hours on a sunday. I'm pretty sure it'll end up as the music break on my podcast this week Comma Error Radio.
I also have come to the conclusion that I watch a lot of movies...this weekends fare includes:
Avatar: alright...I'll admit it...it's fucking awesome....Damn you Cameron....you haven't made a bad one in a very long time.
Crazy Heart: impressive stuff...but overall meh...I guess Jeff Bridges deserves an oscar for it.
New York, I love you: Better than I expected it to be, pretty intense at points...worth checking out...but mostly just celebrity fueled fluff...
The Lovely Bones: Seriously creepy....and also visually impressive(tho not as much as avatar....jesus...that movie was insane) in a 'what dreams may come meets silent hill/nightmare on elm st' kinda way...
I also managed to find time attend a geek gathering on friday and have brunch with my sister today!
It's weird...I think of myself as kind of a shutin...but I guess I'm a lot busier than I think I am....crazy...
Anyhoo....so begins another week....and each week I grow more and more tired of my day job. One of these days....
