Yo.
So I have a new toy to play with, it's a Canon EOS D1100 DSLR. It's a camera, for those who aren't up to speed on technical mumbo jumbo.
As such, I have been taking a lot of photos lately, and some of these I would like to share with you. These are things that pretty much sum up who I am as a person.
This is my van. Go figure- I'm in a rock band, I have a van. It's massive, and is powered by a 4 cylinder 2 litre engine. As such, it moves like a slug. On the left side you can see two massive scrape lines- I brushed up against a truck a while back, it didn't end well. People who know anything about ford transit's can attest to the fact that they're absolute shit, but I love it.
This is my cat Mossy. She turns 6 in late August. One of my ex's was a practice manager at a vet clinic and one day she came to my house with her, saying "you'll only have to take care of her for a week, tops". Still going on that one week...
This is my other cat, Bono. She turns 5 in late September. I used to work in a bar that had alot of stray cats in the parking lot and surrounding areas. One night it was pouring down with rain and she walked in, approx 1 month old, soaked, and in bad need of hugs. Even though she was only a stray for a short time, she's got one hell of a killer instict, and even with two bells on her collar, keeps mice, rats, and pesky birds to a minimum around my house.
As I said, I'm a guitarist. This is my rig for most nights. It covers all sounds from clean pop to balls out AC/DC rock.
For gigs where I know photos will be taken, I use this rig. Same amp setup (The AC30 head together with my Orange or Mesa box is a match made in heaven). I'll use one guitar for each set, because I'm fancy like that.
