I had an evening exam tonight from 8-9. Upon arriving, I began to search for the room, "Allen Auditorium". My search began fruitlessly. Walked through the first floor, second, and finally the third without finding my destination. Back to the first floor, looking in all the rooms, double checking. Still nothing. I began to ask any people I saw, of which there were few at this time of night, if they knew where Allen Auditorium was located. Increasingly panicked I made another sweep through of all the floors, making sure I didn't miss it by mistake.
It was 8:30 before I realized I was in the completely wrong building. And this is at the university I've been attending for 3 years. On a campus I am extremely familiar with.
As a result, I have made a major decision. Tonight's incident is not my sole reason, but rather the ton of bricks that broke the camel's back. I am going to quit smoking the oh-so-wonderful plant that is mary-jane. Only temporarily mind you, but for an indefinite amount of time. My being a pot-head is just not compatible with being a successful student.
