Let death and exile and every other thing which appears dreadful be daily before your eyes; but most of all death: and you will never think of anything mean nor will you desire anything extravagantly.
~Epictetus
The new semester starts in a couple weeks. I hate the bureaucracy of class registration...especially when it's for classes not even pertaining to my major. I hate these last dying weeks of summer even more. Once again being brought back to Indianapolis to resume my place in the mediocrity of cultural pyramid building. Maybe it's time I put these academic pursuits on hold and return to the freedom typically only known in the months of June and July. I miss the road terribly. But I miss the Girl even more...
Still my heart and hold my tongue
I feel my time, my time has come
Let me in, unlock the door
I never felt this way before
And the wheels just keep on turning
And the drummer begins to drum
I don't know which way I'm going
I don't know which way I've come
Hold my head inside your hands
I need someone who understands
I need someone, someone who hears
For you I've waited all these years
For you I'd wait til Kingdom Come
Until my day, my day is done
And say you'll come and set me free
Just say you'll wait, you'll wait for me
In your tears and in your blood
In your fire and in your flood
I hear you laugh, I heard you sing
I wouldn't change a single thing
And the wheels just keep on turning
The drummers begin to drum
I don't know which way I'm going
I don't know what I've become
For you I'd wait til Kingdom Come
Until my day, my day is done
And say you'll come and set me free
Just say you'll wait, you'll wait for me
Just say you'll wait, you'll wait for me
Just say you'll wait, you'll wait for me

Just hang in there; things will get better. Or you could be like my friends and move to a commune.
Well, I hope you're doing well. Take care, doll. *hugs*
