March has been underwhelming, I look forward to April only as a prelude to May and the opening of what should be a strange summer -new places, new languages, new work. I look forward to it like a dream I know I'll dream soon.

it's amazing how infrequently I'm here right now. I'm beginning to really dislike computers, the internet, etc....

I'm still injured. It's amazing how much this influences my everyday routine. It's a relatively minor injury but it's one of those that just makes impossible to workout.

Is it wrong that I just want to skip to whatever is next?

Another week. They are starting to blur again. I think I'm down to eleven months here. Summer will come and go and then the fall will blend into the cold and snow. Of course, I'm lucky to have seasons. There's always something to be grateful for.

No demons follow me when I run. Running puts me a state of mind where none of them seem to be able to join me. There's something about the quiet, the listening to the world around me, hearing each footfall, my own breathing, the rhythm of it all.

I was watching a movie earlier, nothing interesting but just something to distract and provide company, when the scene switched to an early morning shot of the ocean just north of LA.
