Why did I choose Little Calypso?
Calypso is a sea nymph from greek mythology. The job of a nymph is to oversee the protection and function of the natural world. Best known for her role in the 'Odyssey,' Calypso fell in love with Odysseus, who washed up on shore of her island, Calypso's main power was that of seduction and beauty these powers take away Odysseus' free will to leave her island and he stayed with her for several years.
Feminist, seductress, and rebel, Calypso is at the heart of a story of love, loneliness, seduction and duty.
Definition: The name Calypso means 'the concealer.'
And that is why I chose 'Little Calypso".
