The weather is finally changing, and I'm pleased. My Carnivale buddies and I finished season two last night; it wasn't as bad as we thought it would be, there was less screaming and more smart. Good job.
I have to write a paper on Vandover and the Brute, but luckily I get to connect it to The Picture of Dorian Gray and Transatlantic ideas of neurasthenia and decadence. I am a book nerd. If anyone here has actually read Vandover and the Brute then you've become a hero to me. Though, I'm afraid that doesn't get one much these days.
The semester will be over in 9 days, except for the grading finals part. That will be over in 13 days? Soon. Really Soon. That will mean many good things, but mostly Reading For Fun Again.

hey, thanks for the response. I stumbled across your journal and saw you were talking about that and it sounded as if you had a little bit of a negative opnion of the show. Maybe, it'll end up under my tree- but probably not.
