This last month has been a contant blur for me, so many things going on, and this is the only time I will have during the next two weeks to gather myself and prepare for what's to come. But, pretty much like Jack the Ripper would say, let's break it down part by part.
First, my moving woes are done. As of now I'm a happy resident of the Gracia district in lovely Barna. Home of misfits, bohemians and a lot of wannabes, Gracia is a colorful place to live, to put it in an elegant way. Before being absorbed by the big city, Gracia was a town on it's own right, founded by nuns, which I guess adds the little touch of irony to life given the amount of sin that goes around in this place. Full of little squareres, bars and shops, Gracia keeps the "town within the town" alive, plus, I have a videogames store a block away from home.
As for the apartment itself, it's small, then again, everything here is small. So, taking that standard in consideration, you could argue the place is medium sized. It has one decent bedroom and two regular ones (I get one of the regular, which I made very cozy indeed). Kitchen, tiny balcony, living room and a place to put the washing machine (instead of the kitchen, like i've come to witness here).
But here, some pics of the new HQ:
As for the school proyects, this next week we shoot the first 16mm short film, the one I've been working as a 1st AD. The prospect of rain has me a little nervous cause we have two exterior days, and I certianly don't want to pull the covered set rule, even thou we can. As for the other proyect, the 35mm short (I'm Prop Master) it's the next week.
Both proyects are good to go and green lighted, so, with the blessing of the gods, I shall labor this next two weeks and then drop exhausted in my bed, massages are most welcomed.
So, this is the state of the republic, hopefully I will update (tiny, short updates) on the progress of the films.
Cheers boys and girls
