hi..everyone. im in NYC right now. heres alittle day to day update on what ive been doing.
TUESDAY: woke up @ 6am. Belinda drove the 4 of us to the LB airport. nate, brian and i had a bet on if Brett was gonna show up or not. he did, so i won! the flight, in my oppion, was horrible. i hate planes. except is was JetBlue and they have those little TV in front of you. nate and i watched VH1 the whole trip. there was some damn fine Bon Jovi and Brian Adams videos on. we arrived in NYC around 5, took a taxi and got to our hotel around 7. suprisenly(sp?) our hotel was nice. its about 1 block from Times Square. we didnt do much our 1st night, just went out, walked around and ate dinner. thats tuesday for ya.
WEDS: woke up around 8am(thats 5am Cali. times...aRG!) got some tasty breakfast and jumped on the subway. 1st stop: the Statue of Liberty. that was freakin awesome! i got so many good pics. ill show you later. then Ellis island and that was...ah...ya..moving on. ok. Next stop: the World Trade Center: RIP! it that shocking to be standing there. very emotional. not much to see, just a construction site. but just knowing where you were. WOW! after that SOHO. pretty cool neighborhood. nice shops. basically spent the whole time singin "Ruby SOHO" with Nate. ok..lets see. took the subway up town to , what we thought , was gonna be central park. we got off the subway and were we in central park? NOPE! Harlem dude. i wasnt excited about that. i left kinda scared from the looks 5 white people were gettin from walking down the street. Brian thought it was funny. i found no humor in it at all. got back on the subway..went south and finally ended up in Central park. we were there for about 10 mins. and it started to rain. back on the sub. went back to our hotel. changed cloths and went to the NY Public Libery. all i wanted to do what get down to the bastment and act out that seen(sp?) from Ghostbusters. no luck. got dinner @ a TGI Fridays and headed off to the East Village. went to the Continental and bar hoped for acouple hours. around 2am...we stubbled back to our hotel. passed out..goodnight
THURS: sleeped in. Nate, Brian and I went up to the Bronx for the Yankee game. pretty cool, except i was so tired from the night before..all i could do was sit there. met brett back @ the Hotel around 5. went down to Little Italy and had some GREAT dinner. those italians sure can cook. nate had some friends in the West Village so we headin over there. we too some bar which was pretty lame. the girls we met said they'd know a place we would like. ended up @ Red Rock Western Saloon. we went in and it looked kinda famlier. thats right...COYOTE UGLY!!! hot girls, dancing on the bar singin' Guns and Roses songs. couldnt be better. i guess this place has been around for awhile and was the imspiration for the movie. left there aound midnight and that leaves me here. tommorrow im gonna check out some musuems and met up with Josh and Rick Huntington. gonna be fun. thats all for now...EEP
