I was initially just going to go visit and hang with her and a few other friends then we decided for me to bring the gear and see if we could do a few shoots. So vacay turned into a work trip. lol
It looks like I will be starting doing concert photography once again! After moving from Knoxville and leaving my position as senior staff photographer for The International which was a major tour venue in the area. I had figured it was just a 4 year span of fun and a million shows covered and time to move on to different projects.

So an aquaintence/friend of mine named Dieselboy that I had the priveledge to shoot a few times, party with several times, and have been a fan for a looooooooong time. Decided that one of my photos was good enough to use for his newest release. I'm shocked and fanboy all at the same moment.
Crazy cool news today. Looks like I am once again a Concert Photographer for a music magazine. The 3+ years shooting concerts for The International in Knoxville paid off somewhat.

I had an interesting day. Typically this week every year has been filled with sadness and severe depression. My father passed away from Leukemia Feb 16th 1999 not even 2 months after I turned 18.
