Wow.
All the people that caused the country's financial problems are backing Romney. Who would have thought? If you want a repeat of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac; vote for Romney. I'm sure he'll pull a Bain Capitol, liquidate the treasury of the country, add it to his account and skip out after 4 years, saying, "You all should have worked harder."
I'm sick of everybody blaming all the shit that's wrong with this country on the Black President. That's right. I said it. I am 100% sure that the biggest problem most people have with Obama is that he is black.
Obama INHERITED all these problems from Bush; which Fox news, I guess, (I don't know, because I don't watch FOX due to their poor reporting and spread of misinformation which the people of this country suck up like pigs) has conveniently told the same lie so many times that everybody in this country forgot that Obama was left to deal with an economy in ruins after the auto industry nearly failed and received bailouts; after the financial industry robbed and raped millions of people's finances because they were gambling with their money in the stock market, yet not one person has ever been tried or sent to jail over; trying to clean up two wars that should not have been started in the first place in the aftermath of a terrorist attack that the previous administration was complicit in helping with.
9/11 was caused by hi-jackers and the US government with and by the help of the Bush Administration from the highest of ranks. Mr. Bush, the President that was appointed by the Supreme Court even though he had lost the election to Vice President Al Gore, and Mr. Dick Cheney are war criminals and now can no longer go to certain countries or they'll be arrested and tried in the Hague for War Crimes in Iraq and Afghanistan, and secret CIA prisons where US and foreign citizens were tortured for information because of the Patriot Act, a bill that stripped Americans of many civil liberties and rights, while empowering the government to spy on American citizens and others suspected of terrorism.
The last time I also checked, this country was made up of immigrants. I don't know about everybody else, but I can tell you exactly which parts of my family came to the United States and when and where from going back to nearly all my great great grandparents and some of my great great great grandparents. And guess what? If you're an American you fucking came from immigrants. The only true Americans in this country we killed with disease and guns. We forced them off their lands, and then called them godless savages after we slaughtered nearly all of them, raped and reaped the benefits of their land, took away their religion, their way of life and their dignity. Any asshole claiming that somebody should go back to where they came from should stick their entire foot down their throat. I'm not saying that illegal immigration is a problem, but the intolerance in this country is getting to the point today that American citizens that speak another language and that use it in daily are being mistaken for non-citizens, being mistreated and told to get the f#!k out of the US so a citizen can have a job? What are we as people, or as citizens coming to?
The Bush Administration fucked up this country so bad, that we are all screwed for a long time. Barry Goldwater was right when he warned everyone decades ago when he said,
---------------
"Mark my word, if and when these preachers get control of the [Republican] party, and they're sure trying to do so, it's going to be a terrible damn problem. Frankly, these people frighten me. Politics and governing demand compromise. But these Christians believe they are acting in the name of God, so they can't and won't compromise. I know, I've tried to deal with them...
There is no position on which people are so immovable as their religious beliefs. There is no more powerful ally one can claim in a debate than Jesus Christ, or God, or Allah, or whatever one calls this supreme being. But like any powerful weapon, the use of God's name on one's behalf should be used sparingly. The religious factions that are growing throughout our land are not using their religious clout with wisdom. They are trying to force government leaders into following their position 100 percent. If you disagree with these religious groups on a particular moral issue, they complain, they threaten you with a loss of money or votes or both. I'm frankly sick and tired of the political preachers across this country telling me as a citizen that if I want to be a moral person, I must believe in 'A,' 'B,' 'C,' and 'D.' Just who do they think they are? And from where do they presume to claim the right to dictate their moral beliefs to me? And I am even more angry as a legislator who must endure the threats of every religious group who thinks it has some God-granted right to control my vote on every roll call in the Senate. I am warning them today: I will fight them every step of the way if they try to dictate their moral convictions to all Americans in the name of 'conservatism.'" - Barry Goldwater, Republican.
---------------
This is exactly what the Republican party has been taken over by. For years they have been ruled by all these holy rollers in the country, influencing the vote of politics by religion. The last time I checked, in the United States you have the freedom of Religion; however, there is a clear division of Church and State, despite the fact that the majority of people are Christian and would love to think otherwise.
Recently, I was listening to a conversation from a group of Republicans who said the Democrats wanted to take the words "Under God" out of the Pledge of Allegiance (I think during the convention) and that they were putting it to a vote; to put it short, after a few votes, the word was kept in. My issue with it was how big of a deal all these people made about taking the word out. The word god was not even in the Pledge of Allegiance originally, but was added in 1954. (For more visit here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pledge_of_Allegiance#Addition_of_.22under_God.22)
Under God was not written in the true, and original Pledge of Allegiance because of the division between Church and State. However, that all changed, and Congressman Barry Goldwater warned us.
I am not preaching out against Republicans and praising Democrats and Obama. Democrats are spineless, and Obama while not being the worst, has not done as much as he could have. However, you can't blame him. No bills could be passed because the Republicans just block it. That is why this is the most unproductive Congress since Eisenhower's "do nothing" congress. We are paying are congressmen to work for us, but nothing is getting done. Yet, we need to fight for our healthcare and our pay while they get theirs. Obama also signed the NDAA which allows for the Detention of American Citizens, and failed to close Guantanamo Bay as he promised. His continuation of drug policy and promise to change it has also failed, while also continuing the violence on our country's southern border, Mexico, Central America, and South America.
While I put the Democrats in a more favorable light it is because it is easy. Right wingers mainly just care about themselves and are selfish. Beyond, selfish, most of them are arrogant, ignorant, egotistical and some psychotic. To dictate what a woman can and can't do with her body is just insane. I can not figure out how any woman could vote for Romney. (I've even seen some lesbians who want to vote for Romney, and all I could think is really? Let's see, you have a vagina, and you have a vagina, and you're a couple? WTF does Mitt Romney care about you? He doesn't.)
All I know is that both parties suck. While one the Democrats are substantially better than the Republicans, both suck. Yet, the Democrats care about people 1000 times more. All I see from the Republicans is hate; however, they are such good Christians. (Makes me wonder what they are sucking up to God for... I mean, if you are that worried about getting into heaven and are repenting for your sins, than you must have some skeletons in your closet.) And we know all politicians do. Obama and Romney alike. How about everybody in this country pull their head out of their ass and instead of voting for the lesser of two evils, find somebody that isn't evil. A person that will vote with the citizens and this country's future in mind. We need to find somebody that is molded after Cincinnatus,* get the damn job done, and move on.

I feel like voting for Republicans/The Tea Party would be like voting Hitler into power. That's pretty much how I felt about Mr. Bush after he was appointed by the Supreme Court. He took a play right from Hitler and used 9/11 as his Reichstag to curtail liberties at home and to start wars abroad. I feel as American foreign policy is designed to set the world up for America's picking. We set up and install phony leaders who bow down to America while we rape and pillage everything they have. If you want to picture it in your mind, think of the movie 300 with Xerxes armies and Leonidas and his men.
I'm not sure who I'm voting for yet. It might be Obama. It might be ex-Governor of New Mexico Gary Johnson, it might be Texan Congressman Ron Paul. Hell, I might even vote for myself. However, there is no way I will ever vote Republican, and there is no way in the world that I would ever vote for Paul Ryan, and there is especially no way I could ever cast a vote for Mitt Romney.
**I should also say I am an disenfranchised Catholic, who is borderline atheist/agnostic, with more of a belief in spiritualism and goodness.
Reason, logic, fact, and science dominate my mode of thinking; however, with the belief that anything is possible due to quantum mechanics, and the fact that observation aka consciousness or the observer has an effect on the thing being observed. This does not rule out spiritualism though. Many great scientists were deeply involved in spiritualism, such as Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla.
