a quarter of a century or a fraction of a second, it makes no difference now. whether by way of fate or choice, it makes no difference now. the mechanisms comprising the details are what they are, names are merely dissections of purity. definitions are distraction.
someone much wiser than i'll ever be, although perhaps not as wise as i once was said: "america is the only country that cares about what it is". perhaps i should expound on that idea, and go into intricate detail as to why a system can never be accurately viewed from within the system you wish to observe. perhaps even a word or two about scalar relativity, as above so below, and all that. it might even convince a person or two that i know what i'm talking about, and am able to transmute the shapeless and insubstantial entity we call thought into something a bit more tangible that might even make sense through some sort of instinctual, or even intricately planned neural alchemy.
these are all things i should do. but honestly, when all is said and done, and the day is over, and you have nowhere left to retreat from yourself...isn't that the best reason you shouldn't do something?
why define what speaks for itself so purely?
why even give it a second thought?
because by the time you do, if you take a step back, as far back out from the systems you've confined yourself to for one reason or another, or even no reason at all, you'll find what you found in the first place to be done and gone.
would you rather create fiction, or reveal reality?
