I've been gluten free for a couple months now which has made me incredibly lazy when it comes to cooking and baking. My mum was a chef, in fact she was the first woman to graduate from university in my city as chef, so growing up I was quite spoiled with tasty food. Luckily before I followed the family tradition of being kicked out of home at 16 she spent a lot of time teaching me the basics. So eventually when I grew out of the tv dinner and pizza phase of my life I became a fair cook and have been feeding myself quite well for the last couple of years. Then some of my nastier genes kicked in and I cant eat anything I know how to cook anymore (well beside rice dishes but rice gets real boring real fast). So I got lazy and have just bean eating gluten mainly boring meals that consist of microwaved vegetables and some kind of meat.
However since I have little to do with my time but clean and I am now starting to run out of things in my house to clean, I have spent the last week slowly teaching myself new recipes. I say slowly because it seems to take a lot more patience to cook gluten free and I have so far screwed up 3 meals and made two that didnt taste really great.
this is a boring blog I know so if you did read it thanks.
