SIlence is golden... but I've just been lazy.
I wrote a really long journal entry yesterday, but my PC crashed just as I was about to finsh it, so I spat the dummy out and went to do something else.
The upshot of it is this: My exams are finished and I find out the results in about a week. I need a 2:1 to do my PhD and I should get one unless I screwed up royally (I got good marks last year), but I'd really like a 1st. You know, just because.
I'm currently doing sod all with my time and trying to decide if I should get a job for the summer. I have, however taken on a visualisation project for the hospital (not paid) which is giving me something to do. I also have a list of "things to do over the summer" which mostly consists of doing some programming to give me a portfolio, and finishing all the half done screenplays I have (6 of 'em) and then maybe trying to sell some/all of the finished ones (2 so far).
It's also started to bother me that 80% of the SGs I fancy are Canadian. I wonder why this is. If it's symptomatic of Canadians in general, perhaps I should go and live there...

When my brother was crawling (he was about 2) we used to burn our garden and it was in the stage where it was like a dutch oven and he lost his ball in it so he crawled in, both hands and one foot, third degree burns! Us kids thought it was funny so we called him stubby until they unwrapped his hands.
