Hello fellow SGers. I figure it's about time for my quarterly blog update. The workload at my job has finally slowed down (we'll see how long that lasts), but I've been keeping busy otherwise. A couple of weeks back I saw Mindless Self Indulgence live for the eighth time I think. They're one of my all-time favourite bands, obviously, and always put on a fantastic show. Their frontman, Little Jimmy Urine, even put my disposable camera down his pants. Those will be some interesting photos I'm sure. Here's a quick clip from the show:
Recently I had the chance to meet Kat Von D as well. She seemed pretty cool from our brief conversation but the three hours I spent in line to talk with her for 15 seconds might not have been worth it. My main reason for attending the book signing was to get a pic with her but the photo I ended up with was not what I'd hoped for. She did look ridiculously hot though.
I've also been hitting up the SGCanada East monthly meetings lately as well. The first two meetings were held at a coffee shop close to Kensington Market and followed by a bunch of us wandering through Chinatown. Good times. I'd definitely recommend coming out to any members near the GTA. This month's meet up is in Milton for cupcakes!
Anyway, I will leave you with a few of my favourite things at the moment:
The new Placebo track "Battle for the Sun"
The new Marilyn Manson track "We're From America"
Glitch's set "2400 Motel"
Rashel's new set "Scissors"
