So I trap hawks out of buildings in and around the city of Minneapolis. I usually do about 25-30 a yr. We have an awesome Raptor Rehab facility here in Minnesota. It is actually arguably the best in the world. Since I am a raptor trapper, I get the call when ppl call "The Raptor Center" for a hawk in a building. I have been doing this
for about 15 yrs now. Here is the Coopers Hawk I got out a basement of a building across the street from Minneapolis City Hall. It chased a pigeon down a chimney and could not get out.
He had been in the building for 4 days. He had lacerations on his "Wrists" from flying into wires and pipes. He was a little thin and dehydrated so he was brought in for a little bit of rehab. Again this is an Immature Male Coopers Hawk.
