Actually I'm not Deaf. I grew up with a grandpa who signed for his church sermons and a cousin with autism who used sign language for the first couple years of his life. I then went to a high school with a Deaf and Hard of Hearing program; I had many Deaf friends, with whom I wanted to communicate, so I took sign language as a course during my fifth year. Now I have continued to study Sign Language in College to pursue as a career path.
