It seems like a good day to update, so here a wee sample of the random swirling mess of thoughts that consumes my mind at the moment.
MU ....
A student of Buddhishm asks his teacher one day if a dog can possess a Buddhist mind and the teacher answers only ... MU.
What is Mu you ask?? Good question, but the answer is only another question which will only lead to more questions without answers. Welcome to the world of Koans. Yeah ... its a regular freaking party in my brain!!!! And this is even without the benefit of druggage .... fuck!!!
So the short version of this story is that Mu is a state of negative being, yet it is so negative that it becomes positive, the absence of negative if you will, hence the positive.
OK ... huh?? Yeah, yeah, bear with me .... Mu is basically a complex state in which you come to be at peace with everything and yet you accept nothing. Its a very hard place to get, but once there it is the safest place to exist within.
As for whether or not a dog can have a Buddhist mind, the teacher was trying to impart to his disciple that there is no actual clear cut answer to the question. One can reflect and meditate until they finally reach their own conclusion, what difference does it really make if a dog does possess a Buddhist mind? How would we even know? Thus the teacher essentially tells the student, figure it out for yourself, for telling you what I myself have come to realize would defeat the purpose of your own studies and meditation and betray my own Buddhist nature. Mu .....
There ya go .... deep hey???? I will go back to talking about boobs now.

the acceptance of nothing, ipso facto: is necessarily the acceptance of something!
hope that helps
