Ok, I'm updating already! Cripes it's been awhile.
I got 2 new cd's today: 30 Seconds to Mars, and Ivy. Both are quite good, though polar opposites. I like "30" even though it is Jared Leto who wrote the songs. It is honestly not too bad, honest. I could easily be considered a music snob. Sometimes I just don't want to think about the music, but also want something that sounds good. I can do that with 30...I can listen to it for a certain mood, and feel like I'm listening to something that is good to the ears, and isnt' top 40 crap. Yes, listen, you will.
Ivy is also good, for a different mood. I will have to listen to that one more yet, besides when I'm washing dishes.
I saw Interpol this last weekend in Minneapolis. I actually "bumped into" my first SuicideGirl: Roby. Quite an odd experience kinda. I felt like I met a celebrity! I got nervous and didn't know what to say besides..."uh...nice job on the site?" Yeah, I must have sounded brilliant. I have so much I wanted to ask too! Though, I was with my girlfriend, and that would prolly not look quite right. I am highly intrigued by the SG's.
On that note...I am looking for SG's that need a photographer. I am looking to shoot a set. Besides that, I have another idea that more closely matches other of my personal projects: to follow and document the day of an SG. Inquiries welcome.
