I just had my research project cancelled for the semester. I was hoping to have this be my initial excursion into molten salt chemistry. I was intending to familiarize myself with the FFC cambridge process for the electrodeposition of titanium. I had hoped to study it enough to reproduce Dr Chen's results and this summer attempt to apply it to synthesize new alloys or at least use to to produce in a cost effective manner alloys that are already in use. More on this process later.
