Six years? Wow, has it really that long? Life has been pretty good, I've been going to school again. I picked up three degrees last year and am about to transfer to a university in the fall (I'm just working on some transfer units, but I'll probably get another degree while I'm at it). Once I transfer I'll be focusing on environmental protection and management, but I'd also like to enhance that capability with a robust emphasis on remote sensing and geospatial sciences. Unfortunately, my step-mother died a little more than two (or three?) years ago, so that's really affected the complexion of my family a bit (my father has since remarried). My mother is also set to marry her partner this spring now that California's Prop 8 law was struck down by the Supreme Court. As far as my private life goes, there isn't really much of one. Since I broke things off with my girlfriend about a year ago, I've just been focused on advancing myself professionally. I'll still probably be going through another four more years if everything works out according to plan. How about you, how's life been treating you?
