My son was born Sept 2nd, which is why I've not been here in almost two months. I'm sure you understand. He was born by C-section which was fine, except my g/f was mad they made her push for four hours before calling it off. For me, it was surreal to see her laying on the operating table, knowing that on the other side of that paper curtain her guts were being unpacked and a little person was being lifted from her.
The first week was hard, but my mom was here to help us out. I don't think one appreciates one's parents until one has a child. Its a lot of work. Waking up every couple of hours to feed a squalling infant was supposed to be my mom's job, not mine!
But all is well and good now. Hopefully I'll get around to uploading some pics sometime soon. I'm trying really hard not to be the guy who shoves pics of his baby in everyone's face, though.
Oh, and I'll try to check in a little more often.
