2 weeks until we're going to Aus for the Nine Inch Nails shows & I'm so fracking excited I'm going to explode. First stop Brisbane for a few days, see the fam & friends, do some shopping, see NIN at the Riverstage & then we're off to Sydney for a few days, to see some more fam, shopping & NIN.
I couldn't be more hyper about seeing Nine Inch Nails on this tour for Year Zero (not that the last 2 tours I saw sucked. Far from it). I have so much respect for Trent right now, his Year Zero ARG & the Art is Resistance movement. It's like everyday I'm seeing something in the news about something new that he's blowing us away with, and I mean NEW. No one has attempted anything of this magnitude. This is so much bigger than music now.
It's like I'm living Year Zero. Never has there been a concept so involving & on such a huge scale. I'm in awe.
Nothing in my real life seems to be as interesting as the altenate realities I'm living in right now. I just finished season 3 of Battlestar Galactica which ended on such an explosive part of the story that it actually hurts to wait until next year. I need more NOW.
I'm trying to control my World of Warcraft playing at the moment. I was getting some crazy dreams for a couple of weeks there. No warcraft before bed.
My dreams are really getting a little too vivid for my liking sometimes. I'm finding it hard to separate waking life from my fantasy worlds; however my dreams are becoming a little more varied lately, which is good. For a few months there I was dreaming about the same place EVERY night. That was getting really strange. Considering I sleep about 6 hours a night some days I was spending more time there than I was at my home here in Auckland. Rather disorientating. As if I didn't already feel torn between places.
Things I miss from Australia that I must buy- boots, Chokito bars, Cherry Ripes, Chomps, Bonds raglan T-shirts, NotBurgers, good silver jewelry, sushi from Sushi On The Run in the Valley (if the chef still remembers my favourite I'll be amazed!), & Arnotts Montes.
