Two women came in to speak with the Operations Manager today. One of the women was a tall, slender, possibly hispanic woman, with short black hair and a really warm smile. I honestly think she is the most beautiful woman I've ever seen.
As they began to walk away, I just couldn't take my eyes off of her. My brain was telling my eyes, "Look away, idiot. Look away." But my eyes just refused to listen. So I stared, like a little kid, eyes wide, mouth agape. She noticed my glance, did a double take, and smiled at me.
When they left, I turned to the Operations Manager and almost said, "Who was that?!" But then thought twice about it, and said nothing. I thought it might be inappropriate. So I didn't say anything, even though I wanted to tell someone that I'd just seen the prettiest woman I'd ever seen. But I can't talk to my boss like that. This just entails filling the simple comment with obvious nonsensicle disclaimers, such as, "I have a girlfriend and everything..." "In a purely aesthetic way..." blah blah blah. Why make such an anouncement, right? I thought what I thought, and I'll leave it at that.
So I enter this post, instead.
