It's been an embarrassingly long time between updates ...but I'm always waiting to do a proper big and interesting one. But since I have been procrastinating like crazy of late, I've decided to just do some regular small random journals anyway to stop these gaps. Sorry if they're a bit boring.
I've been suffering from really bad wisdom tooth ache for a few days now, and only today has it started to get a little less painful. The bastard things really need to come out!
So, as teeth are on the forefront of my mind, I decided to watch Marathon Man today (which I've seen many times as "I Love It!" ). Those of you who have seen it know that there is that famous dental torture scene where Laurence Olivier keeps asking Dustin Hoffman "is it safe?" and he has no idea what he's talking about. If you have a fear of dentists, this will only heighten your fears!
Maybe I'm a masochist, but I actually enjoyed watching this scene today for once, as I imagined that I was in that chair, and he was drilling out my fucking tooth that's currently pissing me off. Made me feel a bit better. Am I weird?
Anyway, I couldn't find that scene, but I did find the original trailer from 1976 which is a joy to watch!
If you haven't seen this film, you must... it's brilliant!!
Hope you are all well
