It's been a long week with my closest friend spending her time in the hospital. Sucks big fucking monkey balls when all there is to do is watch someone so very dear to your heart sit in such discomfort and know there isn't a damn thing you can do for her. Compounded by the frustration of the doctors who seem only to drag things out with no real results. They don't know what's wrong, they don't know what they'll do. A test here and maybe one tomorrow. It never feels like she's a priority and I understand she's not the only one there and there probably isn't enough staff to take care of everyone in full force; but I have seen them turn away too many people in serious pain because an immediate text book answer couldn't be found. Hard to have faith in a system that never seems to do anything until you're in the darkest of your dire straights. And then still leave you hanging.
Anyways end rant. Here's to prayers for the last of her hospital visits and a real and true recovery.
