I just got back from two more of the movies. Unfortunately I have to miss two of the movies today because its one of my friend's birthday parties but thats cool.
Today I saw The Cold Hour (aka The Dark Hour) which was a very cool very bleak scifi zombie flick. It was slow to get started but was a really solid movie by the end. They did some very interesting things and the story held together nicely.

After that I saw Franklyn which was not what I expected but was also a very good movie. This one stars Ryan Phillipe (sp?) and was much more of a drama movie than I had thought it was going to be. The trailer was rather misleading but the movie itself was twisty and interesting. It does have a bit of action and major sections of the story have a very steampunk feel but I would classify this as a dramatic piece more than anything else. I can see why its at film festival and not hitting the box office directly, i dont think the masses have the patience for all the intricacies, but if you do, check it out.

Tomorrows lineup:
- Shorts after Dark
- The Warlords (Jet Li)
- Dead Snow (Nazi zombies, oh yeah!)
- The Revenant (a zombie comedy)
