ok, so it's been awhile...here's a newer peice I wrote while I was still overseas
Dreaming of Sweetness
Beauty speeds to these eyes,
As the sun sweeps across your face,
With radiant light set to blind;
This begotten world from my sight.
I drift free from this world,
As your scent is carried, on a summer breeze,
I swim with eyes closed tight,
Trapped in an intoxicating paradise.
Eyes so bright to give me hope,
Begging me to dream of what has been,
To make me wish for what has yet to come,
And lure me beyond this fantasy.
Her lips so sweet as they grace mine,
Tangled in this passionate embrace.
When every ounce of me whats nothing more
She pulls away to beckon me further still.
My hands glide over skin so smooth,
Silken to my soft touch.
Losing themselves in her warmth,
I beg myself to never leave.
This night full of passion,
So easily time is lost from thought,
With every move and every touch
Pleasure calls my name into the night.
And as the sun opens these tired eyes,
I lay along to realize,
All again it was just a dream,
The lie of my mind, so serene.
As another day moves slowly past,
I try to remember her face, that touch
But it eludes my mind;
Too far away to grasp.
I wonder who is this girl,
That plagues my dreams each night?
Does she exist in this world,
Or is this just another false pleasure?
A simple fantasy.
Her memory drifts from my thoughts,
As time crawls slowly by
I let it fade from my sight:
For soon again she may grace my night.
