Monday...monday...MONDAY!!!!
I went to the Doc today for my first appointment and found the swelling has gone down so I can go back to work. Later today my Pulmonologist which I need to to get refills and now need a new nebulizer....Sucks being Asthmatic.
December's here....year's almost over, I guess I'll do a year in review later. Not feeling the Christmas spirit but I did go get some things for a friend. Its nothing like going on the hunt at a store and being able to find the items. Plus I love toys r us being open til midnight....I love going there at 10pm...the sales people just waiting to go home and wanting you to get the hell out.
I picked up some good DVD deals during the Black Friday weekend. 30 Rock Seasons 1 and 2, Supernatural seasons 1-3, The Police in Concert, Due South the complete series and Early Edition. Plus Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Being Home, has allowed me to think reflect and to clear out alot of my DVR. I dont care what other's say, its great being able to watch episodes back to back. I watched True Blood in a day and a half(alright show, had its moments, it can definitely be improved. ALOT) But its better then Twilight, which I have not seen and probably wont.
Californication I watched and finished. Some Dexter Episodes(way better then True BLood) Season 2 of Jericho. Another great show that was taken before its time and Pushing Up Daisies...Gone. Blech.
Oh some recent news....Death....it happens to all of us, young, old...etc....My Grandfather is deteriorating and I feel bad but I knew it was going to happen just a matter of when....
For us SciFi/Horror Fiends who really follow the History and Genre, we lost a Great One last Week.
Forrest J. Ackerman Has Passed.now to you youngins, you probably have no idea who da hell i'm talking about but let's just say he was the Grand Showman of the Genre. I mean before SciFi Channel, Hell before the Term Sci-Fi, Before Fangoria, Before Rue Morgue, Before Starlog there was Dr. Acula, There was Forry. There was Famous Monster's of Filmland. A Legend is gone. I think Christopher Lee and Ray Harryhausen are the only ones left that are of the older generation. I use to read Famous Monster's of Filmland at the old Sci Fi Cons when I could get my hands on it and loved the artwork and stuff. I miss that era of Fantasy and Horror. Now adays its torture porn and friggin PG13 Crap... I really should make a movie...
This one hurt like when Stan Winston died.

Oh and Mr. Bentley from the Jefferson's Died as well.
How come you get IMs or msgs from people in your past and to you, their life is all fine and hunky dory but then they say, i Miss the times we had or I miss being free, I miss hanging out with you... What da hell, I know you just had a birthday but no reason to feel regrets, you chose your path...and I wasn't a part of that longterm plan according to you...
