The average ticket price for a Leafs game at the ACC is roughly 368 bucks per ticket. Last time I could afford to go was when my dad had a share of seasons tickets with some guys from work. He had good seats in the lower bowl. Face value then (like 2007-2008) was 220 per ticket. The guys uncle who owned the seats decided to sell them shortly around that time so my dad was approached to go in with like 2 or 3 other guys and buy the seat license to own the pair of seats. My dad was asked to cough up about 30k and then the tickets are on top of that! He said f you and bought OHL season tickets for the Oshawa Generals (I grew up in Oshawa) for like 1500-1800 bucks for the whole season + playoffs. I love my leafs but I can't afford to see them. Even the upper bowl back of the rink tickets were like 75-80++ bucks if you could get them. It's the Leafs 100th season coming up so imagine it won't be any cheaper lolĀ

Yeah when tickets go on sale I would try and find single game tickets asap. In Toronto the stub hub prices for resale are ridiculous. I got lucky in 2003 before the lockout and won platinum tickets to see Montreal at Toronto and then bought tickets for Toronto at Montreal. The last time I went to two games in one season. I'm lucky though cause I live in Guelph Ontario so we have the OHL Guelph Storm here for junior hockey and I'm about 25 mins to Kitchener where the OHL's Kitchener Rangers play. So I can see some of the future NHL stars at a much cheaper price lol. Sport is all about business and money now @deadguitarist

@thekarmaguy, the only NHL games we ever had here in Vegas is Frozen Fury, a preseason game pitting the Kings against various teams, usually the Colorado Avalanche. I went to a couple. My wife's cousin, who is a huge Los Angeles Kings fan, would buy tickets for the three of us. But she always bought the crappiest seats. One year we couldn't even see one of the goals because the sightline sucked. So one year, I told we'd go as long as I could buy the tickets. ----- I am a Kings fan too, but that all changes in 2017-2018. ----- Here's something crazy. Before the Kings got "The Great One" I could go to the Forum in Los Angeles, buy a student ticket in the nosebleed section with my expired student ID and move down to the expensive seats once the game started. No one went to the games. After WG, you couldn't buy a ticket. Sold out every game.
