Over a month since I got back from Florida, the weeks since just seem to roll into one another... Having a day or two off never seems to be enough!
Really enjoyed the sunshine and relaxation, even though most days were filled with wandering aimlessly around Disney Parks, I'd rather spend 12 hours on my feet doing that, than another hour sat at my desk at work! All of the locals we met were really friendly, and everything seemed a little more chilled.
Since I got back I have been looking for jobs in/around Orlando, I suppose one of the benefits of working for a company as big as mine, is that they have one or two offices scattered around the world. So far i've not found anything to suit me, which is a shame, but I suppose in another sense it also gives you the motivation to try something new?
Fingers are crossed that soon I should hear something about redundancy (it's only been 5 months since I offered to go!), which will then free me up to get back to the gym and take my time deciding what I want to do next... Although it seems that you can't send a CV off to anywhere if you're thinking of becoming a ToyBoy (Although i'm probably getting a little old for that now)
Well, with Florida done, looks like i've only got a few more breaks to look forward to this year.... Spain next week, Goodwood Festival of Speed in July, Ibiza with the lads in Sept and then a week with the "better half" in Oct/Nov... not sure where we'll be going for that one, she's looking at Cape Verde, I'm thinking somewhere a little colder, like Iceland... Could be interesting to see where we end up!
