Today inspirations are visual and far ranging. i've been looking at fashion photography, overly saturated color, the lines of Hans Holbein the Younger, Ellen von Unwerth, Terry Richardson, and Pre-Raphaelites (especially versions of Ophelia) oh and porn, mustn't forget the porn.

You sound pretty busy.
Tonight enjoying a St. germaine cocktail peppery microwave popcorn, and watching the Cube with my best friend. trippy movie, though having a hard time feeling much for the characters. Seems if just a few more minutes were devoted to each the story would have more impact.

Oh neat! Who drew your favorite Delirium? She is my favorite, well... Death was for years but Del has her beat in spades in regards to character. Weirdly, this is one of the hardest pieces i've ever done. =/ Probably because i love the characters i have very specific feelings about the way each need to be portrayed, and some days i just don't feel up to the task. Also, my heart is pulling me in a very different direction with painting, and part of me wants to complete this piece, as at present it feels like a task. After this i'm working up pieces to submit to several nude and erotic art shows and that is really my passion. Sorry to be yappy been pinning skirt pleats for hours and feel dazey. lol.
What do you shop for? What do you like about it? Which season of True Blood are you on? Any characters you either love or identify with? I'm most like Terry (yes, the vet. ) but i love most of the girls, and Eric, but alas cannot abide Bill. ^__~.

I guess i only knew the version Neil Gaiman did. But yes didn't we all want to be Death... lol. But yeah, i get it, things can become so laborious that it can stifle your creative juices!
I love clothes and i love styling. My dream job was as a Visual Manager for a major department store, which shall go nameless, because i want to burn them down, but it was awesome and i loved it. I dressed mannequins and windows, remerchandised departments and helped peole put stuff together! Since i don't do that anymore i just live it everyday. So shopping and acquiring stuff to style myself everyday makes me happy. I get a lot of, "you always look so put together." It makes me happier than they know!
Nordstroms, Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie and Forever XXI are my favorite stores but I can find something almowt anywhere. Its like a scavenger hunt to find the best deal or score the hottest thing and wear it before anyone else around me does!
And I'm only on the first disc of the first season!! we are waiting for Netflix to send us the next disc! gah we've been waiting for like 3 weeks!!! But i adore it already...
