Have fun on friday...I don't think I can be there, as I moved to Seattle a couple of weeks ago, but have fun nonetheless!
acidevangelist:
The saving grace is that it is a 4-day work week. The 3 day weekends make it worthwhile (pretty much).

The worst is over.
I am a successful non-smoker.

ever find yourself longing for what was? even if you can get a taste, it's still not nearly good enough. it's not the same. it's not what you want. then it hits you how imperfect it really was all along. the idealism of the whole experience has suddenly flushed down the toilet with the rest of the crap that's been dealt with in your life....

here's to complaining!

i have a migraine headache.
i can't afford to smoke anymore.
i miss intimacy, but he messed up.
my car needs new brakes and my heater doesn't work.
my mom was just diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and her medications are completely botched up. she's in a lot of pain and i can't help her.

Sorry about the migraine.
You shouldn't smoke anyway. it causes rapid aging, even though it is fun.
I miss intimacy, too. I am just at a loss as to what women look for anymore.
Brakes are too expensive. Most mechanics are crooks, if you ask me.
I understand the sentiment about your mom. Mine has Multiple Schlerosis and I wish I could help her.
Car insurance...there is another scam. Not the insurance part but the fact that it costs an arm and a leg.
I don't want to get any older either. Here comes thirty like a freight train. I wish Icould dodge it. wink
You should try Oust. Or get an Ionic Breeze. I have one and it kicks major ass.

I know she messed up but that is over with now. I wouldn't have any contact with my ex whatsoever if it wasn't for my love of my dog. That kind of sounds like a lot to go through for a pet but she is my baby. I wish I could have her to myself.

I like your profile pic. It makes you look mysterious. smile

Age has nothing on you. Seriously dear, I mean that. I highly highly doubt that aging will even happen to you.

my heart and brain are still intact after a loss
an inevitable loss, but a loss non-the-less
i now am looking forward to whatever is in store for me
whether it is good or bad
depending on the circumstance, it will either be appreciated or gracefully dealt with
but the here and now still rules my domain
as it should be

charlatan:
Looking forward is all we can do, really. If you spend to much time looking back life can pass you buy. You seem to have such an easy grasp of your life. I wish I was like that. kiss

i had a good day today, which was a major improvement from yesterday. yeah, i was bitter and upset. my original core group of friends are being awesome these days, and honestly it's a welcome distraction. a bike ride, coffee, ice cream, chipotle, and good conversations with good people is where it's at. i miss yesterday but this is ok too.

judas fixed my hair...

I'm not unhappy though. Just sorta venting I guess.

I've got lots of stuff to be happy about, and most of the time I am. That just doesn't always show up on here.

i had a funky smell in my apartment recently, and then it just went away, on it's own. it smelled like death, though, so i am worried that when i move out i'm going to find a mouse or bird corpse somewhere under something... it smelled all sweet and mouldy and minty and sharp like blood--coppery...
