Well. As some of you know im finishing my studies in Nutrition and Dietetics so get ready for a little long yet helpful blog.
Personally, my favorite drink is water
No kcal, no fats, no additives, no colorants. Just water 💚 so refreshing and with some escential minerals.
Im not a juice or soda fan since i started studying, sugar can be so damaging in so many ways.
So im going to give a little explanation.
Your body uses glucose (sugar) as energy. Most of the energy comes from sugar (sugary drinks, carbohydrates, etc). Why? Its easier to use since the body absorbs it super quick. But the problem comes when you consume more sugar than needed. We have non transmisible diseases like diabetes type 2, cancer and cardiovascular diseases.
As i said, im not a fan of sugary drinks but i do like alcohol. And alcohol is a carbohydrate that later turns into sugar.
Yeah i know. You guys might be thinking that everything good in life is bad but as long as you eat or drink with moderation everything will be just fine.
