So some new developments, I got a Job offer from this company United Rentals to spearhead a new division that they are cold starting, involving High displacement pump, power generation units, desicant units , and HVAC. It has quite a bit of upward mobility and a great starting package. And better yet it is at least in one of the three areas i've been looking at, Boston. It almost sounds too good to be true. Best part is that the guy Hue (pronounced Way) was trying to sell me on the job vs. the other way around. Seems like everything is falling into place. About bloody time. So i have to start looking at getting a place up in the city now. Damn shame that...I'll be back in a real city. at the sake of repeating myself, about bloody fucking time. 4yrs in the most socially/culturally forsaken parts of the US and world are more than enough.
On the other hand I have to go back to chicago to set up an estate sale for my grandmother's house and belongings. She's been excepted by the HOSPICE unit at the nursing home. They don't expect her to last more than a couple of months longer. Almshiemers is no fun. I think that's spelled right. She hasn't reconized me for about a year now... always someone different, my old man, her husband, an uncle, or any number of people. Always leads to an interesting and disjointed conversation. Anyways, Time for something completely different.
