My camera's been getting a workout lately. I got a new big data card for Christmas that stores 500 or so pictures at a time. It's great. Went to the annual fetish night at one of the local strip joints last night. It was somewhat disappointing. The club was a riot. Some drunk-off-her-ass stripper wigged out on the bartender and was carried, screaming, off stage left, followed by quite a few cops. That was funny.

Actually, the hood hurt the least of all my piercings, including the ears which I had "stapled" at Claire's when I was 6. I got a vertical hood piercing, which supposedly bothers most people less. The little metal thingie they put underneath to catch the needle hurt more than the piercing itself. I really hate needles, so I didn't look at what the guy was doing, and I felt kind of giddy afterwards, in a "suddenly no more stress" kind of way. It healed really, really fast. By the next day I only noticed it when I bumped it, like crossing my legs. Then for about 3 weeks or so it felt REALLY good. I took the stairs all the time. Once it totally healed (about 6 weeks) I got a barbell instead of a ring, because the ring would sometimes shift from side to side when I did sports. But the barbell I chose at first was too short, and had cheap plastic balls on it. It looked nice, but it really bothered me. After about a month of that I went to a good piercing shop and got a longer barbell with steel balls, which has been great ever since. It takes a little while to get used to masturbating again, since there's a thing in between your clit and finger, but you do get used to it. Looks great! Before I got mine done, I looked it up online, and there are lots of sites that talk about what happens and what type of piercing is best for you, how it feels etc. Be careful...there are a lot of scary pictures of spread legs on some of those sites. Can't remember any links now, and I didn't bookmark anything, but you can Google it I'm sure.
It's a nice piercing to have. Very discreet, and a lot of fun, at least for a while. I've heard you can stretch the piercing later on to get that swollen and fun feeling back, but I don't really want a 00 gauge piercing there, if you can believe it.

Oh, didn't realize you were from St. Louis...I got the piercing done at Iron Age on the Loop, and got the barbell changed at Cheap Trix on South Grand. The piercing was done really business-like at Iron Age, and some friends of mine that came with me said that the "bedside manner" could have been better (I didn't mind, though). When I got the barbell changed the guy at Cheap Trix was really good, so if I get any more piercings I might go there instead.
