Today we woke up at 5am, drove for an hour and a half and took my guy's little brother to Toowoomba Swap Meet. He's 14 this year but he's really into collecting antiques: lanterns, bottles etc.
There were so many tiny little turbo's everywhere, but we aren't turbo-ing the Micra until the Gazelle is on the road. Priorities.
On the way home we were all admiring the cute houses out the passenger side windows when Jack (my man) and Harry (brother) both saw something they didn't want me to see... So whilst driving Jack puts his hand over my face and turns my head away from what they didn't want me to see. It might seem silly, but they obviously saw someone at the house either killing or transporting dead animals and knew it would really upset me. The fact that he desperately tried to shield me, makes me feel like he cares. He's not a particularly affectionate person so seeing him try shield me from misery... I'm just happy.
I tried to take a photo of him on the down low but as you can tell by the infuriated facial expression... He noticed. Whoops. Meanwhile I'm trying not to laugh.
