Yeah, I am at that point too... Originally I joined because I wanted to see Anais naked, but now its mostly cruising the journal and profiles etc.
Not that looking at Anais naked has lost any of its charm...
Its just that there are so many interesting people here that I would probably be to shy to talk to much in real life. So i guess Im kind of living vicariously through the site.
Just because we read more than we oggle doesnt mean that we are no longer manly-men! Although, that is an admirable new years resolution!

I don't really have a problem with people who have cliched tattoos, it's more just people being boring. There actually is a story of sorts behind one of my stars, but I couldn't be bothered telling everyone about it. They are such pretty things that sometimes you don't want them to be too heavy, or something.
How do people decide on what tattoos to get?
I've wanted some for quite awhile now, but I can't think of something I want on myself forever (or until I go to the caci clinic and have it lasered off).

It took me about a year to decide on my tattoo. I dont think I would get anything tattooed onto my body that wasnt symbolic. But thats just my preference, like someone else said further up, sometimes its nice to have a tattoo thats there to look pretty.
Ummmm... are you passionate about anything? Thats the best place to start... but be careful of phases ... in 10 years time that care-bear on your shoulder might not look so cool.
My tattoo is a bit pattern (a stream of 1s and 0s) that represents my interests in computers and my views on a perfect life where everything either is, or is not. Ive had it for a while now, and I like it just as well as when I got it.

What are you doing in the states? Some of my friends will be in CA then but up a mountain.
I think you should try to contact your friend, I lost touch with I guy who I was really good friends with when I was in NY but last time he was out here we met up again. He just couldn't be bothered keeping in touch most of the time.
