So, this summer has gotten off to a crazy start...
The baby is getting so big, so fast, and she's been sleeping through the night since she was like 6 weeks old (now 4 months olds). She's developing her own little personality and has a smile that can light up a room. I love hearing everyone tell me what a good baby she is, not that I need the reassurance, but it's nice to hear. It's been so much easier with her than it was with my oldest daughter.
Speaking of which, she's getting so big. It's hard to believe that she's 8 already. She's such a big help with the baby, too.
We finally had our wedding three weeks ago tomorrow. It was an awesome wedding and we had so much fun. The honeymoon was great, we crammed a little too much into it and only got to relax when we were sleeping or eating, but all in all it was good. We rented a 2012 Road King and got to ride it over the Golden Gate Bridge, something that most people from the East Coast can say that they have done. Then we came home, hopped a train to New York City with our girls and got to stay across the street from Ground Zero which was cool. It's hard to believe that was almost 11 years ago. We watched a bunch of YouTube videos of it and remembered it like it was yesterday. My 8 year old has been bugging us all year to see it since they celebrated the 10th anniversary in school. She doesn't understand the impact that it had on society or that it is such an important part of our Nation's history and she's too young to even see the videos of what happened, but it was nice to see her so into something like that.
We also took her to American Girl for lunch while we were there (something that I don't recommend) and the food was not only overpriced, it was terrible.
Hopefully everyone has been good is SG Land. Peace, mother fuckers! Thank you for reading.
