Here we are..the second anniversary of Septembre, 11th.
My short story is about the day before that, two years ago... I remember that day all too clearly. I was up visiting in the Green Bay area. My father was about to be hitched his third time. The day of his marriage happened to fall on September, 10th 2001. I stood up at the wedding as the best man.. which was a surprise to me. I thought my dad would of picked one of his close pals. The ceromony was held outside..we had musicians and a very talented harp player for background melody. Good food. So many friends and family about. My father even thought of my friends and I and purchased us a keg of slab city Old 47 Ale (local brew). That following night unfolded into one of the most memorable and fun filled evenings ever. I had friends coming out of the woodwork, we rocked the joint until 4am with Ministry blaring on the outside speakers. We danced and wrestled.. made fun of my cousins and my younger step sister's friends. We even fed them brats evil jello shots and slab city Ale. I don't recall much else after that.. somewhere In a drunken, smoked out delirium i passed out on my ol' man's basement floor.
........................... It was about 10:30 am when i awoke. I think? I was so dehydrated from drinking that I could not find any more rest for the life of me. I stumbled upstairs to turn on my pop's computer and to grab a glass of Ice cold well water. *bleh* I returned to the computer to surf for a bit. I came over something about a plane crash in new york and thought nothing of it really. Then again... This time I read more into it. Confused, I thought it was a big joke... "that didnt happen." I told myself. It just did not sink into my groggy hungover mind.. Then I received a phone call. I checked the caller ID. It was my best friend. Noticing how early it was and what may of or may not of just happened in NYC, I felt great encroaching dread. He told me to turn on the television right away.. I did. I turned it on right on time to witness the second tower collapse. ...I went numb. Immediate buzz kill.
From a day and night of incredible highs..to the day that could fall no lower.
Where/ what were you guys doing when you first heard the news?

I added you too **claps paws**
Time goes fast, eh? 2 years already since it happened. I still remember getting a phone call that morning and telling me to turn on the tv right away, something terrible had happened. But, for the life of me, I never once thought it would be as horrifying as it was. I still get in tears when I watch the videos and images.
When I went downstairs I found out what had happened and could not believe my eyes. I was scared but knew I had to mentally prepare myself for possible war for what was going on. Wow....I get weird feelings thinking about it...
The Venus fly trap was my tattoo artist's idea. He said he said he was dying to put it on someone. So, it is his original. When it is finished he wants to take me to a tattoo convention to show it around. Im stoked about that.
Whats up for the weekend bro?
