This new picture I put is kinda weird, but I like it cuz I'm so happy to have my Cheer Bear!
Last weekend was awesome! On Friday, I went to the Ministry concert (Evil Doer Tour). Thrill Kill Kult was really cool. Me, my brother and my boyfriend all got in for free cuz we were tabling for Music For America. We registered a bunch of people to vote and gave away stickers and buttons. It was so much fun!
Then on Saturday I got to go to a party. Lots of MJ goin' around and beer a'plenty! There were turn tables and drums, and I got to boogie like there was no tomorrow. But of course there was a tomorrow -- Sunday. Food Not Bombs. We cooked and served food to the homeless as usual. One of our members (Stef) is starting a collective that is going to have a building with a cafe, music venue, day care for low income families and much more! Activism galore! I love it! I'm so excited! It's going to be a very worth while project that will help people in the Valley and promote revolutionary social change. Yep, you figured it out: I'm not a capitalist. And I'm not a fatalist. Change can happen. It has happened. Why not go the distance?
If anyone reading this wants to help register people to vote and hear some great music : www.musicforamerica.com
I just joined the PETA2.com street team. I've been a vegetarian my whole life and animal rights is such a part of who I am, so I'm really glad to be getting involved with this organization.
All in all, things are looking up
