i wish wendy would update, that's so greedy of me huh? i want to talk to her sometime, she seems very awesome. *end psycho babble*
weekend went by fast. that's what i get for playing gfa san andreas for about 16 total hours. nothing else really exciting happened.
went to a party saturday night downtown, some 'famous' sac djs were there. i saw billy lane spin some really great hip hop. i wish i knew what tracks they were. the other djs were cool too one played the friday the 13th movie theme but in a gabber/jungle beat. i saw dj pat and mikey j, it was mikey's house. i was cool off my drink but then i succumbed to peer pressure and took a hit off the glass. it made me just stand there silently staring off into space and laughing mostly. we ended up leaving at like 1:30 but it was really 12:30
then today went to my aunt's bday lunch. me, mom, joy, alecks, ron, grandpa, judi (aunt). was alright, soem pictures got taken so i can finally put a recent one of me up soon.
oh , some cds i have been listening to lately:
death from above 1979 - you're a woman, i'm a mcahine....holy damn this album makes me out of my mind. at first i thought it would be guilty pleasure but after numerous listens it's an intelligent, thougtful, pleasure inducing peice of metal driven beauty. it's all with a bass, drums, and synth. so intense. dont be scared by the metal description, i should have said noise rock. head bobbing noise rock
subtle - a new white....i dont' know where to begin unless you have heard cLOUDDEAD. doseone's voice made me like it before i heard it, but after hearing his backing band this will easily be in my top 10 cd's of 2004. lush, funky, chill, ambiant, glitch, jazzy, and...hmmm a little portishead thrown in there for good measure. even if you arent into rapping you will like this since doseone makes this skill unlike nothing you've ever heard before
ok i am done licking some ass, goodnight
